Valentina Release 17.2 Improves Studio Query Editor

Updated support for Ruby 4.X, DuckDB and SQLite.

Paradigma Software announces the immediate availability of Valentina Release 17.2. This release updates database engines across all supporting products, including in Valentina Studio, Valentina Server and selected Valentina Database ADKs:

  • [Imp] DuckDB database engine updated in all products to v1.5.0
  • [Imp] SQLite databse engine updated in all products to v3.51.2, SQLCipher encryption to v4.13.0

Valentina Studio 17.2

Valentina Studio is the free, all purpose database management tool suite. Valentina Studio PRO adds more powerful diagramming features, more powerful visual builder tools for databases, forms creation, reports designer and more. Studio 17 and Studio PRO 17 adds several new and useful features, including:

  • [New][Query Editor] Added support for generating UPDATE, DELETE, and INSERT queries in addition to SELECT.
  • [Imp][Query Editor] Added query type selector to the editor toolbar.

Valentina Studio 17.2 for Windows, macOS and Linux is licensed but free. Valentina Studio Pro is $199 per OS license and includes 12 months of free updates. Valentina Studio UNIVERSAL 17.2 is a single license that works on all three operating systems and licensed on a user basis.

Valentina ADK for Ruby 17.2

Valentina ADKs are available for Ruby / Ruby on Rails.

  • [Imp] Restored compilation of the 64-bit Valentina extension on Windows. Linux and macOS versions updated in 17.1.
