Monkeybread Software announces an update to its multifunctional extension for SQLite powered solutions.

The SQLite Extension extends SQLite databases with over 50 new functions, including:

• Additional mathematical functions like Round or Pow
• Functions to save BLOB values in files outside the database
• Functions to calculate checksums on blob values on the server
• String functions like SoundEx or accents removing for your text searches
• Regular Expressions in queries
• UUID generation

Version 1.8 adds a new function: ReplaceAllMBS. It also provides numerous technical updates including compilation with Xcode 26 and Visual Studio 2022, upgrading SQLite support to 3.51.2 and CubeSQL SDK 5.9.6. As a SQLite extension, it should be compatible with versions of SQLite that support the load_extension() in a SQL statement, such as the SQLite included in Valentina Database ADK for Xojo and Valentina SQLite Server (a component of Valentina Server).

You can test the extension for free up to 10 minutes per launch in a demo mode. Licenses are available for $149 USD per developer with one year of free updates, but it is also included in Omegabundle for Xojo 2026.
