Learning Resources for Valentina Reports for Xojo

With Valentina Release 17.5.3, Paradigma Software added a list of significant, new projects for learning how to build and deploy reports with Xojo.  Each example includes a Xojo project, a report project, the required sample data or setup files, and a README explaining how to run the example and, when required, how to set up its datasource.

SQL Example(s)

• The ODBC example shows how to use MySQL through a configured DSN.
• The Parquet example exposes files in a folder as tables and joins them using SQL

NoSQL Example

The MongoDB example uses an aggregation pipeline with $lookup stages to join collections, passes a typed query parameter, and reads BSON Binary icons.

JSON

Demonstrates passing flattened JSON records directly to MakeNewReportFromData, without a database or datasource string.

Scripts

JavaScript and Python examples request nested data from HTTP APIs, transform it into flat report records, and generate a report without a database datasource.
